The Last Frontier...

How I love Alaska. Horsemanship runs abundant here and I keep finding great horse people in nooks and crannys all around the Matsu Valley. I can't wait to see where this takes me, but it feels great right now.

Moe and AJ

Moe and AJ are two young Morgans beginning their education with me. In 30 days I will bring them through the phases of learning manners, understanding pressure and hopefully getting them greenbroke to ride so their family can continue on with their training this spring. I look forward to working with these lovely horses and helping them through the beginnings of their new journey.

AJ is the palomino mare. She is very attached to Moe, a smokey dun gelding. Both just turned 3 years old.

AJ seems nervous, worried. But she has settled in to barn life a little easier then Moe.

Today will be their 3rd lesson in manners.

This was life at Mecca. My wonderful barn in Redmond, WA. that is now closed. I'm on to phase 2 of my equestrian life in Wasilla, AK. I have only 4 horses now. Cypress, Huckleberry, Mini and Rita.

More to come...in 2010. I enjoy this journey... I have been through hell and back and now I'm ready to create heaven again...
